Vintage 9ct gold running fox pin; our fox is in textured gold and appears to be in full on running mode (no doubt to escape from the hunters!). He has a pin at the back with a folding lock for security which is in good working order. Weight 3.6gm; stamped 9ct and tested as 9ct gold. Measurements: length 5cm (2″) and length of fox from nose to tail 2.5cm (1″). This is a unisex piece which would look smart on a lapel or tie and is in excellent condition. It dates from the 1920s, an era of elegance when a pin on one’s lapel was “de rigeur”.
