Art Deco Diamond Panel Ring -SOLD
Stylish Art Deco diamond panel ring set with two chunky Old European cut diamonds each weighing 0.75ct and a further 0.80ct of smaller Old European cut diamonds which are set in a stepped design. The two larger diamonds have a hint of colour which contrasts with the white of the smaller stones. This type of ring is usually made from older pieces of jewellery from around 1900 and in the late 1930s would have been the height of fashion. Both the undersides, top and bottom, are finely carved in an Art Deco design. Weight 9.2gms; measurements 15.3mm x 17.5mm. The top is fixed to a slim, wide tapering shank which makes the ring very comfortable to wear and it is very light on the finger whilst creating a dramatic impact. Tested as 18ct gold; this ring is in excellent condition and dates from the late 1930s – early 1940s. Finger size P1/2 (UK), 8 (US), 58 (French), 18 (Italian) which we can resize for you if required.
