Art Deco Diamond Platinum Target Ring SOLD
French Art Deco diamond target ring set in platinum; a French classic from the 1930s, this target ring is set with a transitional cut diamond weighing 0.25ct, claw set, in the centre. This cut of diamond was very popular in the 1930s and was used in most French diamond rings at that time. The centre diamond is mounted over a “skirt” of platinum which, in turn, is attached to the main body of the ring by four prongs. Around the edge are 8-cut diamonds in a millegrain setting. Stamped with the French state control mark for platinum (Dog’s Head) on the fine band. Weight 3.3gms. Measurements 1.2cms x 1.2cms. Finger size J 1/2 (UK/AU), 5 (US), 50 (French) which we can re-size for you if required. The ring is in excellent vintage condition.
