French Diamond Platinum Art Deco Bracelet -SOLD
Magnificent French platinum and diamond late Art Deco panel bracelet. This mid century bracelet is a truly beautiful piece jewellery hand made by French craftsmen in the early 1950s. It is composed of round brilliant cuts, transitional cuts and baguette diamonds which have been graded as G – I colour and VS1/VS2 clarity, with some diamonds SI1/2 clarity. The three largest stones are each 0.48ct (total 1.44ct) H/I colour, VS1/VS2 clarity and are in a rubover setting; a further 105 diamonds are also in a rubover setting; 180 diamonds are round brilliant cuts and are in a grain setting; 24 diamonds are baguettes G -I colour and VS1/VS2 clarity. Total diamond weight is 18.15cts (Assessed mounted). The bracelet closes with a concealed push-in clasp and has two “figure-of-eight” locks for added security. Weight 70.60gms; length 18.3cm x width 2.2cm. The bracelet is stamped with the French platinum state control mark (Dog’s head) and the clasp tongue is in 18ct white gold with the French state control mark (Eagle’s head). This fabulous bracelet is in excellent condition.
