Topaz Tourmaline Gold Night and Day Earrings

Blue topaz briolette and green cabochon tourmaline earrings set in 18ct gold; these have been made as Night and Day earrings – the green tourmaline studs can be worn alone, and with the blue topaz briolettes hooked on, they are transformed into dramatic evening jewels. The tourmalines are a deep shade of green and each weigh 4.75ct. they make a great alternative pair of studs for day wear.  They are set in brushed gold, stamped 750 and tested as 18ct.  Each topaz briolette is a beautiful shade of sky blue and measures 1.5cm x 1.1cm (5/8″ x 3/8″).   The earrings are fitted with a hook where the topaz can be attached.  The backs are large, strong butterflies which keep these glamorous earrings firmly in place.  Overall length 3cm/1.25″  Weight 17.1gm.  These earrings are in excellent condition and date from the 1960s.   Ref: H059
