Green tourmaline and 18ct white gold brooch; this stylish mid century brooch is formed of a rectangular green tourmaline weighing 9.15ct with a fan of alternate ropework and plain polished white gold strands on either side. Weight: 13.10gm. The tourmaline is a rich mid green shade and is held by four claws. There is a pin fixed to the back of the brooch with a swivel lock. The brooch is understated but chic and would look beautiful on a plain black dress as an ideal cocktail party piece. Tested as 18ct gold. Length: 6cm x 2cm at the widest point/2.5″ x 7/8″ at the widest point. It is in very good condition and dates from the 1950s. Ref: V1217
