Victorian Turquoise 15ct Gold Etruscan Revival Brooch

The Alice Collection – Antique Victorian turquoise and 15ct gold brooch in the Etruscan revival style; the circular brooch is set with a cluster of turquoises and a central little silver star.  There is a row of gold beadwork and beading around the edge.  To the reverse there is a pin and hook closure and a gold safety chain for added security as well as a compartment for a photograph.  Tested as 15ct gold.  Weight: 7.90gm; measurements: 3cm x 3cm x 1.50cm x 1.60 (1 1/8″ x 1 1/8″ x 5/8″).  The brooch is in very good vintage condition and dates from around 1850 – 1870.  Ref: H066-74
